Choose a route & date
Pick Downtown, the LINQ Promenade or South Strip. Buy the correct ticket and check its own time window.
Check in at your first bar
Follow the venue list in the app. Check in on arrival to receive your first virtual playing card.
Redeem with the bartender
Tap Get Drink or Redeem and show the app to staff. Let the bartender confirm it; tips are extra.
Build your five-card hand
Collect the cards you are dealt at the remaining bars. Any countdown in the app must finish before the next check-in.
Check the results
Finish within the crawl window. The app ranks the hands automatically and gives winners their prize instructions.

Royal Crawl is a paid, self-guided bar crawl run through its own smartphone app. A ticket normally bundles five drink redemptions with a virtual five-card poker hand and a chance to win the event’s listed prizes. The app is free to download; the crawl ticket is a separate purchase. Official store examples checked on 1 November for 2 November 2026 were $80 for the LINQ Promenade, $82 Downtown and $119 South Strip, per person before taxes and/or fees and bartender tips. Use these as dated comparisons, then choose your own date in the official store for the final price.

The LINQ Promenade Royal Crawl
A compact central-Strip route
The LINQ version is the practical choice when your group is already around the centre of the Strip. The checked event lists I Love Sugar, Off the Strip Bistro & Bar, Tilted Kilt, Flour & Barley and Yard House, mixing the bar stops with an easy-to-recognise promenade setting. Its appeal is the shared activity and the five-card game rather than hunting across the city for the cheapest individual drink. Start with the actual venue list in the app, and ask which drinks qualify before redeeming.

South Strip Royal Crawl
Bars plus an hour of games
The South Strip event combines Mandalay Bay and Luxor with a game-focused finish. The dated listing names Swingers, Rhythm & Riffs, Vinyl Room, Flanker and PLAY Playground. Royal Crawl’s route page advertises an hour of games at PLAY after the final check-in, so compare the activity as well as the drink allowance when deciding whether the higher ticket price suits you. This is a different ticket from the LINQ and Downtown crawls. Follow the date-specific starting time in the app, especially where a general guide differs.

Downtown / Fremont Royal Crawl
Casino bars and Fremont Street energy
The Downtown crawl links Circa, Golden Gate and The D, with the Fremont Street Experience between the casinos. The checked itinerary lists Overhang, Club One, MEGA BAR, Bar Prohibition!, BarCanada and LONGBAR. Club One is a players-club stop: the package still describes five bar drinks and five playing cards. It is a good format for a group that wants the casino-bar atmosphere plus a simple competition on the phone. Check the dated event for the listed prizes and redemption instructions, rather than assuming every visit has identical rewards.

Royal Crawl Las Vegas: your questions
Is Royal Crawl free, and how much does it cost?
The app download is free, but tickets are paid. The official 2 November 2026 examples checked were LINQ $80, Downtown $82 and South Strip $119 per person, plus taxes and/or fees. Tips are additional. Prices vary by date and route, so confirm the total in the official store before buying.
Are there any discount codes?
Royal Crawl’s public website advertised code VEGAS40 for 40% off when checked. Eligibility, availability and exclusions can change; apply any code in the official app or store and check the actual total before paying. An advertised discount is not a guarantee that it works for every date or booking channel.
Is it good value?
Compare the final ticket total with what you would normally spend on five eligible drinks, then allow separately for tips and transport. The dated base prices work out at $16 per included drink on the LINQ route, $16.40 Downtown and $23.80 South Strip before extra charges. South Strip also advertises an hour of games at PLAY Playground. Choose it for the whole activity if that suits your group; the chance of a prize should not be counted as money saved.
Do I choose my poker cards, and do I need to understand poker?
The app deals the cards when you check in and ranks the completed hands. You cannot swap cards or buy a replacement hand according to the operator’s FAQ, and you do not need to score the hand yourself. Follow the current event instructions and complete the required stops before the finish time.
What drinks are included, and are tips covered?
The general FAQ lists a well cocktail, domestic beer or house wine at each eligible bar. South Strip drink choices can differ by venue, including frozen cocktails. Premium spirits, oversized signature drinks and additional orders should not be assumed included. Gratuities are not included; ask the bartender about eligible choices and budget for tips.
Why does Downtown show six stops but only five drinks?
The official Downtown itinerary includes a Club One players-club visit as well as the five bars. It is described as five drink redemptions and a five-card hand, rather than six included drinks. Follow the live event list for the order and any optional players-club offer; the promotional terms may change.
How long does it take, and what should I bring?
The operator suggests roughly two to three hours for many groups, but it is self-guided and you must finish inside your ticket’s time window. Carry accepted government-issued photo ID, a charged phone, mobile data and a way to pay for tips or extras. You must be 21+ to be served alcohol. Check dress, access and entry requirements for your chosen venues.
Can I do a free self-guided crawl instead?
Yes. Vegas Bible’s Downtown Dive-Bar Crawl is a separate guide with ten optional stops and route maps. There is no Royal Crawl ticket, included-drink package or poker prize game on that route: choose your own bars and pay each venue for what you order.
