Las Vegas dive bar crawl: 10 stops & route maps

FOLLOW THE NEON. FIND YOUR FAVOURITE.

DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS · YOUR NIGHT, YOUR WAY

Make a night of downtown’s neon signs, neighbourhood bars and independent hangouts. Start with four Fremont-area stops, choose an Arts District mini-crawl, or add the Maryland Parkway and Gateway detours. The ten numbered venues are options to build your own night around, rather than a challenge to drink at every stop. Classic dives sit alongside laid-back beer bars with their own character. Use the street maps below to follow each section; arrange a taxi or rideshare for the separately marked transfers. Corduroy closes Mondays and opens from 5pm Tuesday–Sunday, so check your chosen venues before setting out.

Official venue information checked 1 November 2026.

WALKING ROUTE

Hogs & Heifers Outpost

Starting with the Hogs attitude at its current downtown home

Start at the Plaza for the current chapter of Hogs & Heifers, rather than following an old listing to Third Street. The Outpost is a temporary pop-up carrying the saloon’s loud, irreverent character while its next permanent home is being built. That makes it a deliberately different beginning from a polished cocktail lounge, with the familiar attitude more important than recreating the former room. Choose it if a boisterous saloon sounds fun, then head east when the rest of your chosen stops are ready.

The Griffin

A dark, old-Vegas-feeling room between louder stops

The Griffin supplies a change of mood as the route reaches Fremont East. Its brickwork, deep-red seating and fireplaces create a darker, enclosed setting that feels separate from the bright street outside. It is a useful stop when the appeal of a crawl is discovering different rooms rather than repeating the same atmosphere. Travel Nevada’s official venue listing confirms the Fremont address and points to the bar’s social channel. Check current opening and events before arriving; the room’s character is a better reason to visit than an assumed timetable.

Corduroy

Retro rock-and-roll character without another long transfer

Corduroy keeps the core route compact after The Griffin while changing the visual mood. Its retro music references and colourful rock-and-roll styling give the stop a playful identity, with cocktails and house-made ginger beer providing another reason to pause. Think of it as a laid-back independent bar within the crawl, rather than trying to force every venue into one strict definition of a dive. The practical detail is its evening opening: schedule this part of the route around the bar’s published days instead of assuming an afternoon walk-in.

Atomic Liquors

Finishing the Fremont core at a historic neighbourhood bar

Atomic Liquors gives the Fremont section a destination with its own longstanding Vegas identity. The neon exterior and a story dating to 1952 make it a satisfying contrast to both a casino pop-up and the more enclosed Fremont East rooms earlier in the route. It is farther east than the main canopy, so treat the address as a planned stop rather than assuming every downtown bar sits together. This is a sensible place to finish the core route, consider food and decide whether any optional extension still appeals.

608 South Maryland Parkway, Suite 160 · downtown / Huntridge edge

Jive Turkey

A neighbourhood dive with a proper cocktail-bar counter

Jive Turkey adds a different pocket of downtown to the shortlist. The long bar, low lighting and neon give it a familiar neighbourhood-bar feel, while the Maryland Parkway address makes it a separate outing from the Fremont doors. Choose it when you want another independent room rather than a casino lounge, and leave time to settle in instead of treating it as a quick compulsory round. It works as a detour between the Fremont section and the Arts District, with transport arranged for the transfer.

Davy’s

Restored neon, draft cocktails and a food stop on Main Street

Davy’s makes an easy starting point for the Main Street section, beside ReBAR but with a distinct identity. Its restored Davy’s Locker neon brings a piece of local bar history into a room built around casual drinks and food. The operator advertises cocktails on tap and PBR deals, so this is a sensible place to compare the current menu when the group wants an affordable round. It also gives the crawl a useful meal opportunity before moving on to the nearby Arts District stops.

ReBAR

An optional vintage-minded Arts District detour

ReBAR starts the optional Arts District extension with a different sort of independent-bar character. Its antique-shop roots and second-hand personality make it a better fit for a relaxed browse-and-drink stop than a claim of being another classic biker dive. The published food service also makes it worth considering when the group needs something more substantial than another round. Treat this as a separate neighbourhood visit reached by planned transport from Fremont, not the next doorway on the core walking route, and check the kitchen before arriving late.

The Silver Stamp

A beer-focused change of pace beneath colourful lights

The Silver Stamp is the beer-led alternative in this crawl: a welcoming independent room for people who would rather explore a beer list than order another elaborate cocktail. Its glowing strings of multicoloured lights supply the visual charm, while the Imperial Avenue address lets it sit naturally between Main Street and Dino’s. Keep it in your route for a slower conversation stop and a change in what is in the glass. Treat it as a laid-back beer bar within the dive-bar outing, with its own personality and pace.

Dino’s Lounge

An optional old-school finish with karaoke on selected nights

Dino’s is the optional finish for people whose idea of a classic bar includes pool tables and the chance to sing. Its own site makes karaoke a clear part of the identity, but only on specified nights, so match the visit to what you actually want to do. The address is a separate stop south of the Fremont core, not a reason to stretch the evening into a compulsory ten-bar challenge. Choose it for an unpretentious final destination, or save it for another night if the group is ready to stop.

Route stop
9 — finish the Arts District walk here; Hard Hat is a separate transfer.

Hard Hat Lounge

A separate late-night finish with industry-bar energy

Hard Hat Lounge stretches the shortlist to downtown’s Gateway edge, so make it an intentional destination rather than another doorway on Fremont. The operator’s mix of a gaming bar, burgers and an events programme gives it a local industry-bar identity, with 24-hour opening useful for a flexible finish. The outdoor crowd in the photograph shows an event night rather than a promise of the same scene every evening. Choose it if that setting appeals, and check the programme before planning around music or karaoke.

PLAN YOUR NIGHT WITH CONFIDENCE

Las Vegas dive bar crawl: your questions

Is this a walkable Las Vegas dive bar crawl, and when should we start?

Choose one section or mix stops across several evenings. The Fremont walk covers 1–4; the Arts District walk covers 6–9. Jive Turkey at stop 5 and Hard Hat at stop 10 are separately marked transfers. Each tab shows an actual Google street map and route. For Corduroy, plan Tuesday–Sunday from 5pm and confirm The Griffin’s opening. Check Davy’s Sunday hours directly.

Can we get food during the crawl?

Plan a proper meal rather than assuming every bar serves food throughout its opening hours. Atomic links a kitchen menu, but you should ask about current kitchen service. ReBAR in the optional extension publishes food service ending one hour before its bar closes. Eat before starting or choose a confirmed food stop, and keep water and non-alcoholic choices part of the evening.

Should we bring cash, and are there cover charges?

Bring a payment card and a modest amount of cash if useful for tips or machines, then ask each venue about payment methods and any minimum. Do not assume every dive is cash-only or that an ordinary night’s entry policy applies to a special event. Check covers and the full price before ordering; there is no requirement to purchase an alcoholic drink at every stop.

Do we need identification or a reservation?

Treat this as an adult bar outing and carry accepted government-issued photo identification. Hogs & Heifers explicitly states 21+ with ID; confirm other venues’ current entry rules directly. ReBAR says no reservations are required, while events and larger groups can need different arrangements. Ask before relying on a table for the whole group.

How should we do the Arts District extension and get home?

Use the transfer maps to plan a taxi or rideshare between Fremont, Jive Turkey, the Arts District and Hard Hat. The two walking sections have their own maps. Check the actual pickup point and current road access, and save any extra venues for another night if you have had enough.
