THE STRIP & DOWNTOWN · YOUR NIGHT, YOUR WAY

A great Vegas view can mean an open-air deck over the Strip, a sunset terrace high above downtown or a comfortable indoor lounge behind panoramic windows. These 12 picks cover different kinds of evenings, from a casual rooftop beer to a dressed-up cocktail. Check the setting on each card: Allē and Hard Shake are indoor skyline alternatives, while 108 Drinks is part of a ticketed observation-deck visit. A reservation does not automatically guarantee outdoor seats or a particular view.

Official venue information checked 1 November 2026.

Skyfall Rooftop Bar & Lounge

A high-floor Strip panorama and a special-occasion cocktail

Skyfall earns its place for the scale of its setting: a 64th-floor lounge looking out across the Strip from its southern end. W Las Vegas announced its reopening in October 2026 after a redesign, making this a particularly timely choice for a dressed-up drink. The official venue page pairs its panoramic views with a cocktail programme and advance table reservations. Choose it when the view and the room are part of the occasion, rather than for a quick, inexpensive round. Ask the host about the seating available and outdoor access before making a view-specific booking.

BrewDog Las Vegas

An open-air beer-and-food stop with a relaxed group atmosphere

BrewDog is the practical choice when your group wants a rooftop without making the entire evening a formal cocktail occasion. Its official description puts an open-air bar, firepits, day beds, food and live sport together above the Strip. The views take in neighbours including Park MGM and New York-New York, so the appeal is being close to the action rather than looking down from a distant hotel tower. A broad craft-beer focus also gives it a different identity from the polished skyline lounges. Pick the rooftop specifically: the downstairs UnderDog beer hall is a separate setting.

Paris Las Vegas

Beer Park

Rooftop sports, sociable tables and a central Strip location

Beer Park combines a useful central Strip position with the easy appeal of an outdoor sports bar. Paris Las Vegas places it on a rooftop deck overlooking the Boulevard, while the venue highlights more than 100 beers and dozens of HD screens. That makes it a strong option for a group whose priorities include the game, food and a lively setting as much as the view. It is a lower rooftop experience, not a high-floor observation lounge, which is part of its charm. Major sporting events can change the booking experience, so check the event details before choosing your seats.

Chéri Rooftop

A garden-party setting beneath the Eiffel Tower

Chéri stands out for a location that feels unmistakably Las Vegas: beneath the Paris Eiffel Tower, with the venue advertising views of the Strip and dancing fountains. Its French-inspired food and cocktails, and a design drawn from mid-century Parisian garden parties, give it a softer, more decorative identity than a sports rooftop. This is a sensible pick when the setting should feel like part of a celebration or a date, with the option to stay for food. Treat the advertised view as a reason to enquire about seating, rather than a promise that every table has the same sightline.

The Rooftop at Ole Red

Live music and a lively rooftop stop in the middle of the Strip

Ole Red offers a different sort of rooftop night from the quiet hotel-lounge format. Its official rooftop page describes a daytime country hangout that becomes a more elevated lounge after dark, with cocktail flights and performances on its rooftop stage. The Strip-facing position is the draw, but the music and crowd are part of the experience too. Choose it when your group would enjoy a soundtrack and a sociable atmosphere rather than hushed conversation. Check the current rooftop lineup separately from the venue’s other stages, and leave room for the possibility that an event changes normal access.

Resorts World Las Vegas

Allē Lounge on 66

An indoor skyline alternative for an elegant cocktail evening

Allē belongs in this guide as an explicitly indoor alternative, not as a promise of an open-air rooftop. Resorts World locates the lounge on its 66th floor and highlights expansive Strip views alongside rare spirits, cocktails and small plates. It is worth considering when you want the height and evening atmosphere of a skyline bar while preferring an enclosed lounge. The published dress expectations are also more formal than a casual beer stop. Reserve with your occasion in mind and ask about the seating; a high floor alone does not make every table a front-row window seat.

Bottled Blonde Rooftop

A lively rooftop with DJs and a central Strip outlook

Bottled Blonde adds a more party-led option to the rooftop shortlist. Its operator separates the main floor from the rooftop, with distinct event calendars and a strictly 21-plus policy upstairs. Choose it when your group wants DJs, evening energy and a Strip-facing setting rather than the quieter mood of a hotel lounge. The official events page advertises fountain views for rooftop sessions, but your exact position still matters. Check the rooftop programme and the selected booking terms instead of assuming a downstairs reservation includes the same experience.

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

Hard Shake

A sheltered skyline drink in an intimate high-floor lounge

Hard Shake expands the choice for readers who want a view without an open-air terrace. Waldorf Astoria describes a 23rd-floor lounge with hand-shaken cocktails, an intimate atmosphere and a palette of deep indigo and Champagne tones. The attraction is a polished indoor evening with the Strip as a backdrop, rather than rooftop-party energy. Food is available if you want the stop to last longer, but check the current menu and your seating before deciding. Use the current Hard Shake name, as older SkyBar references describe an earlier incarnation.

The STRAT Tower

108 Drinks

A drink as part of a high-up observation-deck visit

108 Drinks is worth considering when seeing the city from the Tower is already part of your plan. The STRAT places it high above Las Vegas Boulevard and explicitly requires Tower admission, making it a different proposition from walking into a normal rooftop bar. The payoff is combining a skyline visit with a drink instead of treating them as separate outings. Choose it for the scale of the panorama and the observation-deck experience, while checking which ticket or package you need before comparing the cost with other bars.

Ocean Prime Terrace

An elevated outdoor terrace with the option of a full dinner

Ocean Prime belongs here as an elevated restaurant-terrace alternative, rather than a rooftop nightclub. Its official Las Vegas page identifies an outdoor terrace with Strip views at the corner of Harmon and Las Vegas Boulevard, alongside the restaurant’s lounge and dining spaces. That makes it useful when your group wants a cocktail stop that can naturally lead into dinner. Be precise about the seating you want: a standard restaurant reservation and a terrace arrangement are not automatically the same, and private functions can affect which spaces are available.

Circa Resort & Casino

Legacy Club

A downtown sunset terrace and a sweeping skyline

Legacy Club is the standout downtown choice for a high-floor cocktail with a sense of occasion. Circa places it on the 60th floor, combining an indoor lounge with an outdoor terrace and firepit seating. Its outlook is the downtown skyline and Las Vegas valley, so choose it for that broad city perspective rather than expecting the same close-up Strip scene as the Paris rooftops. The setting also works especially well around sunset, with the venue offering bookable sunset experiences. Smart evening clothing and an advance check of the calendar are sensible: private buyouts can temporarily change public access.

Commonwealth

An outdoor rooftop dance floor surrounded by Fremont neon

Commonwealth earns its place for a rooftop that is about downtown nightlife rather than hotel-tower height. Its official site describes a two-storey cocktail bar with a rooftop dance floor overlooking Fremont Street’s neon landscape, with DJs and a lively late-night identity. That makes it a better fit for a group that wants music and movement than one seeking a quiet sunset table. The lower rooftop brings the neighbourhood into the experience: choose it for Fremont East energy, not a distant Strip panorama. Check the event calendar before going, because the programme is central to what the night feels like.

Best rooftop bars in Las Vegas: your questions

Which Las Vegas rooftop bars have a Strip view?

Skyfall, BrewDog, Beer Park, Chéri, Ole Red and Bottled Blonde advertise Strip-facing rooftop views, while Ocean Prime offers a Strip-view terrace. Allē and Hard Shake are indoor skyline alternatives; 108 Drinks is part of a Tower visit. Legacy Club is primarily a downtown-and-valley panorama, while Commonwealth is about the Fremont streetscape. The view from a specific seat can differ from the venue’s headline photograph.

Are all of these bars outdoors?

No. The setting details distinguish outdoor rooftops and terraces from indoor skyline lounges. Allē and Hard Shake are indoors, and 108 Drinks is an observation-level bar requiring Tower admission. Skyfall is a high-floor rooftop lounge; ask about outdoor seating following its October 2026 redesign. Ocean Prime is a restaurant terrace rather than a rooftop nightclub.

Can I see the Bellagio fountains from every rooftop bar?

No. Chéri specifically advertises Strip and dancing-fountain views, but a particular table’s sightline and the fountain operating programme still matter. A bar describing a Strip or skyline view does not automatically promise a clear fountain view. Ask the venue about your preferred seats before making a booking for that reason.

Do rooftop bars charge a cover or require a minimum spend?

There is no single rule across these venues. Check the terms for your date, table, package and event. A general admission arrangement can differ from a reserved table, a sunset experience or a major-event booking. Confirm whether any payment is a cover, a food-and-drink minimum or a pre-paid package, and what taxes or service charges are additional.

Should I reserve a table and check the dress code?

Reserve when the view, outdoor seating or a special occasion is important, then confirm exactly what is included. Legacy Club encourages upscale nightlife attire, Skyfall lists upscale casual and Allē requires upscale-resort attire. Other venues and special events can have their own rules. Bring identification and check the current age policy; several of these lounges are 21+.
