THE STRIP & DOWNTOWN · YOUR NIGHT, YOUR WAY

Give the group something to do between drinks. These ten Strip and downtown choices combine a genuine activity with a bar, from technology-scored darts and crazy golf to simulator racing, oversized challenges and karaoke. Some are adult nightlife venues; others welcome younger guests at specified times. Compare the actual game booking, drinks allowance and age policy before choosing. Topgolf and Atomic Golf are clearly identified resort-area destinations with their own entrances, rather than bars directly on the casino floor.

Official venue information checked 1 November 2026.
Flight Club Las Vegas’s decorated darts playing areas and lounge seating01Strip
Grand Canal Shoppes · The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort

Flight Club

A group darts session without manual scoring

Flight Club makes competitive darts approachable by handling the scoring and turning play into quick multiplayer games. The richly decorated room gives it more occasion value than a lone dartboard in a pub, while cocktails and food let the group settle into one stop. It suits friends with mixed levels of experience, because the shared activity supplies a natural focus for the evening. Reserve the playing area deliberately: turning up for a drink and having a guaranteed darts session are different plans.

Activity
Technology-scored Social Darts with multiplayer games.
Drinks & food
Cocktails and a restaurant menu alongside the playing areas.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Booking
Timed darts reservations; check the session length and group size.
Age
21+ after 5pm; no darts for under-12s; younger-player rules apply earlier.
Friends celebrating beside a colourful crazy-golf course at Swingers Las Vegas02Strip
Mandalay Bay

Swingers

Crazy golf, carnival games and cocktails in one venue

Swingers turns mini golf into a social night out rather than a quick attraction to tick off. The themed courses, carnival games and cocktail service give the group several ways to compete, with food available when the visit becomes a longer occasion. It is particularly useful when you want a game that does not depend on being a skilled golfer. Choose the package and time carefully: golf, carnival play and drinks can have different inclusions, and daytime family sessions change the venue’s usual adult-only atmosphere.

Activity
Crazy golf courses and carnival-style games.
Drinks & food
Cocktails, beer, wine and food, with separate package options.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Booking
Choose the game and inclusions; a bar visit is different from paid play.
Age
21+ outside family sessions; younger guests have specific time and supervision rules.
A guest taking on an oversized physical game at Play Playground in Luxor03Strip
Luxor

Play Playground

Oversized physical challenges and a game-show mood

Play Playground is the choice for friends who want to get up and take part rather than remain seated around one game. Its oversized physical, memory and teamwork challenges create a game-show atmosphere, with a bar and cocktails keeping the setting social. It offers a different kind of competition from an arcade or simulator venue: the appeal is doing the task together and comparing results. Allow time to understand the pass options and choose activities that suit everyone’s comfort and mobility before the competition begins.

Activity
Large-scale tactile games, puzzles and team challenges.
Drinks
Cocktail bar; some passes include a cocktail or mocktail.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Booking
Ticketed play with pass-specific credits or duration; waiver required.
Age
13+ until 7pm, last entry 6pm; 21+ after 7pm.
A golfer taking a swing from a Topgolf Las Vegas hitting bay04Strip
MGM Grand campus · 4627 Koval Lane

Topgolf Las Vegas

A shared driving bay with food and drinks

Topgolf works when the group wants an activity with a clear home base. A reserved hitting bay gives friends somewhere to gather between turns, while target games and automatic scoring make a casual session possible without committing to a golf course. The restaurant and bars help it function as a longer social visit rather than a few swings and an exit. It sits behind MGM Grand on Koval Lane, so plan the entrance and travel time instead of treating it as a bar beside the casino doors.

Activity
Golf target games with automatic scoring in all-weather hitting bays.
Drinks & food
Bars, restaurant service and food delivered to the bay.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Location
MGM Grand campus on Koval Lane; use the dedicated entrance or resort walkway.
Booking & age
Bay reservations and supervision rules apply; check the chosen space.

LEVEL UP

Arcade games and shuffleboard inside a casino resort

LEVEL UP is a practical choice for a group already spending the evening at MGM Grand. Arcade games and shuffleboard give the stop a participatory element, while lounge seating, drinks and entertainment make it more than a quick games-corner visit. It suits friends who want an activity without organising a dedicated excursion to a distant attraction. Check what is available on the chosen night, because a live-music crowd, a sports event and a casual game session can create very different experiences in the same room.

Activity
Arcade games and shuffleboard; check the available games on arrival.
Drinks
Casino-resort lounge with a bar and drink specials.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Setting
Inside MGM Grand near Hakkasan and The Central.
Booking
Confirm operating times, age admission and charges for individual activities.
A group socialising with drinks in an illuminated Atomic Golf hitting bay06Strip
Next to The STRAT · 1850 South Main Street

Atomic Golf

Interactive golf and drinks at the north-Strip resort end

Atomic Golf offers a north-end alternative for a group that wants golf games and a social bay rather than a full round on a course. The activity, restaurant and bars make it possible to build an afternoon or evening around one destination, with non-golfers still part of the conversation between turns. Its position next to The STRAT is important to the plan: it has its own Main Street entrance and is not a casino-floor lounge. Compare the bay booking and package inclusions before deciding which session suits the group.

Activity
Interactive golf games in bookable driving bays.
Drinks & food
Restaurant and multiple bar or lounge spaces.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Location
1850 South Main Street, adjacent to The STRAT; a separate entrance.
Age & booking
Time- and area-specific restrictions; confirm the selected bay and package.
The illuminated bar and dining area inside F1 Arcade Las Vegas07Strip
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace

F1 Arcade

Simulator racing with a cocktail-bar setting

F1 Arcade gives the group an activity that feels distinctly different from darts or mini golf. Racing simulators provide the competition, while the bar, food and Forum Shops setting make the venue suitable for a complete social stop. It is a useful option for friends who want to compare laps without needing real-world racing experience. Choose a racing reservation rather than only booking dining, and read the package carefully: the number of races, shared food and included drinks vary between the available experiences.

Activity
Racing simulators with individual and group experience packages.
Drinks & food
Champagne bar, cocktails and a dining menu.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Location
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, with a Strip-facing terrace.
Age & booking
All ages welcome; racers must be at least seven. Book the actual racing experience.

217 Las Vegas Boulevard North · Downtown

Gold Spike — The Courtyard

Giant outdoor games and a casual group hangout

Gold Spike’s Courtyard is the flexible downtown choice when the group wants to drift between games rather than follow a booked simulator session. Giant games, outdoor seating and the container-built Recess Bar give it an informal playground feel, with room for the evening to change direction. The activity is the social setting as much as any single contest, making it useful for friends with different levels of enthusiasm. Check the calendar first, because a major party, concert or skating night can change access and the atmosphere.

Activity
Oversized games including cornhole, shuffleboard, ping pong and Giant Jenga.
Drinks
Recess Bar in a shipping container, with outdoor seating.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Setting
Open-air courtyard with an event stage in downtown Las Vegas.
Age & booking
21+ always; check the specific event’s admission and seating terms.
A guest playing an illuminated attraction inside In The Game Fremont Street09Downtown
Historic El Portal Theater · 310 Fremont Street

In The Game Fremont Street

Arcade challenges with a proper downtown bar option

In The Game adds a colourful arcade choice directly to a Fremont Street evening. Its game credits, group challenges and attractions give friends something more active to do than simply moving between bars, while the Typsy Gypsy menu provides draft beer, frozen drinks and snacks. It is a useful stop for a casual group that wants to play at its own pace rather than reserve a formal activity slot. Keep the spending model in mind: loaded credits and attraction bundles are different from an unlimited-play promise.

Activity
Arcade games, group challenges and separately priced attractions.
Drinks & food
Typsy Gypsy bar menu with draft beer, frozen drinks and snacks.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Location

Age & booking
21+ after 10pm; compare credit bundles and group packages.
The colourful Cat’s Meow karaoke stage and dance floor at Neonopolis10Downtown
Neonopolis · 450 Fremont Street, Suite 201

Cat’s Meow

Public-stage karaoke with friends cheering you on

Cat’s Meow is for the group that would rather become the entertainment than learn the rules of another game. Public-stage karaoke gives the night a shared purpose, whether everyone sings or a few brave volunteers take the microphone while friends watch. Its Neonopolis location puts the stop beside Fremont activity, but the karaoke-club format deserves time of its own. Choose it when audience energy and participation sound appealing; it is a very different proposition from a private karaoke room or a quiet cocktail table.

Activity
Public-stage karaoke with hosts and a shared song queue.
Drinks
Bar service and optional party packages.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Setting
Upstairs at Neonopolis, facing the Fremont Street area.
Age & booking
21+ only; check admission, package inclusions and seating separately.
PLAN YOUR NIGHT WITH CONFIDENCE

Best activity bars in Las Vegas: your questions

Which Las Vegas activity bar is easiest for a mixed-ability group?

Flight Club handles darts scoring, Swingers offers casual crazy golf, and simulator or target-golf venues have different game formats. Play Playground is more physically active, while karaoke asks for a different kind of confidence. Choose the activity your group actually enjoys, then ask about accessibility and alternatives for anyone who would rather watch.

Does buying a drink include the games?

Usually you should treat drinks, activity charges and admission as separate unless a particular package says otherwise. A bay can be priced by time, darts by session, and an arcade by credits. Check the exact duration, number of players, included games, drink allowance, taxes and service charges before comparing prices.

Are all activity bars in Las Vegas adults-only?

No. Flight Club is 21+ after 5pm, Play Playground becomes 21+ after 7pm, and Swingers has daytime family sessions. F1 Arcade welcomes racers from seven. Gold Spike and Cat’s Meow state 21+ entry throughout, while In The Game becomes 21+ after 10pm. Check the current venue policy, supervision rules and accepted ID before booking.

Do we need to book, and can a large group play together?

Reserve timed darts, golf bays, mini golf and simulator sessions when the activity is essential to the plan. Confirm how many players one reservation covers and whether a large group will be split between bays or sessions. A restaurant table, drinks reservation or general admission ticket does not automatically reserve playing time.

Can we combine an activity bar with dinner and other Strip plans?

Yes, but check kitchen service and allow time to reach the actual entrance. Topgolf is behind MGM Grand on Koval Lane, and Atomic Golf has a Main Street entrance next to The STRAT. The Palazzo, Forum Shops and large south-Strip resorts also involve indoor walks. Build the evening around the booked activity time rather than an optimistic map distance.
