Cheap drinks in Las Vegas: 10 Strip & Downtown picks

KEEP THE FUN. WATCH THE BILL.

THE STRIP & DOWNTOWN · YOUR NIGHT, YOUR WAY

A good Vegas drinks deal should be easy to understand before you order. These ten picks stay on the Strip and downtown, pairing published beer, cocktail and package prices with the hours and restrictions that matter. Choose a stop near your plans, compare the drink size, and keep the full bill in mind.

Official venue information checked 1 November 2026.
Slots-A-Fun casino at Circus Circus on the Las Vegas Strip01Strip
Beside Circus Circus · North Strip

Slots-A-Fun

A straightforward $2 draft

Slots-A-Fun earns its place through an unusually clear offer: the official casino page advertises a $2 draft beer alongside inexpensive bar snacks. That makes it a useful North Strip choice when you want a simple drink rather than a large souvenir cup or a complicated package. The vintage coin-machine setting is part of the appeal, but the low drink price is the reason to consider stopping. Check which draft qualifies before ordering.

Deal
Advertised $2 draft beer; the official page also lists $2 hot dogs, shrimp cocktails and popcorn.
When
Casino open 24 hours daily. Separate serving hours for the $2 offer are not published.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Draft special, not a promise that every beer costs $2. Confirm selection and size; allow for tax and tip.
Casino Royale on the Las Vegas Strip02Strip
Casino Royale · Centre Strip

Casino Royale casino bar

A clearly priced bottled beer

Casino Royale is the practical centre-Strip pick for visitors who would rather buy one ordinary beer than pay for a large drink or an expensive cocktail. Its own dining page publishes $3 for a 12-ounce bottled beer, giving you a useful price and portion to compare with neighbouring bars. We would treat it as a convenient stop when already nearby, rather than turning a small saving into an unnecessary trip across town.

Deal
Officially advertised 12oz bottled beer for $3 at the casino bar.
When
The official offer does not publish specific days or serving times; confirm at the bar.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Applies to the advertised bottle offer, not all drinks or every beer size. Budget separately for tax and tip.
Beerhaus facade and outdoor seating at The Park in Las Vegas03Strip
The Park · New York-New York

Beerhaus

A beer stop near the South Strip

Beerhaus combines a published $5 draft special with a relaxed beer-hall setting at The Park. It is a useful option when your plans already include New York-New York or the surrounding South Strip, especially if the group would like food as well as a drink. The important distinction is that MGM advertises a specific draft special: this is not a claim that the entire tap list costs $5. Ask what is pouring on the offer that day.

Deal
MGM’s official Beerhaus page advertises a $5 draft special.
When
Offer hours are not stated. Listed venue hours: Mon 11am–10pm; Tue 11am–11pm; Wed–Sat 11am–10pm; Sun 10am–10pm.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Only the qualifying draft special is verified at $5. Confirm current selection and availability; tax and tip are additional budget items.
Blondies Sports Bar and Grill storefront inside Miracle Mile Shops04Strip
Miracle Mile Shops · Planet Hollywood

Blondies Sports Bar & Grill

Comparing a fixed-price happy-hour package

Blondies is worth considering for the structure of its offer rather than simply the lowest individual drink price. Miracle Mile Shops advertises a $20 happy-hour package covering domestic draft beers and well drinks on qualifying weekdays. For adults who already want to settle into a sports bar, that can be easier to budget than ordering premium cocktails individually. It will not suit every visit: check the permitted drinks, available time and sporting-event exclusions before paying.

Deal
$20 all-you-can-drink domestic drafts and well drinks during the qualifying happy hour.
When
Monday–Friday, 3pm–6pm.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Major sporting events, including March Madness and UFC, can suspend happy hour. Limited to qualifying drinks; confirm cover, tax and gratuity.
Draft beers pictured on Virgil’s Real Barbecue official menu05Strip
The LINQ Promenade

Virgil’s Real Barbecue

An early weekday beer or margarita

Virgil’s stands out because its Howdy Hour provides several affordable drink choices rather than one headline price. The official bar menu lists $6 selected drafts and $7 margarita options in an early weekday window. That flexibility helps a mixed group choose between beer and a cocktail without immediately moving to the full-price list. We would use it as a planned afternoon pause on the LINQ Promenade, with the bar-only condition checked before taking a seat.

Deal
$6 selected draft beers; $7 Virgil’s Margarita, frozen strawberry margarita or Kicked Up Tea. Happy-hour wine is $8.
When
Monday–Thursday, 2pm–5pm, at the bar.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Qualifying happy-hour items only; other cocktails have different prices. Bar seating required. Allow for tax and gratuity.
Margarita at El Segundo Sol in Las Vegas06Strip
Fashion Show Las Vegas · North Strip

El Segundo Sol

A $6.50 margarita in the bar

El Segundo Sol is a strong option when a margarita is the drink you actually want. Its official happy-hour menu names both the on-the-rocks house version and frozen flavours at $6.50, which makes the offer easier to assess than a vague percentage discount. The Fashion Show location is useful for a break from shopping or a North Strip outing. The catch is straightforward: the offer is for bar seating on the published days, not the whole restaurant all week.

Deal
$6.50 on-the-rocks house margarita or selected frozen margaritas.
When
Sunday–Thursday, 3pm–6pm, in the bar.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Bar area only, first come, first served. Tax and gratuity are not included in the operator’s listed happy-hour prices.
Seasonal Old Fashioned from RPM Italian’s official cocktail menu07Strip
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace

RPM Italian

A more polished cocktail stop for $8

RPM Italian is our choice when value means a good-looking restaurant bar with a carefully chosen cocktail rather than the absolute cheapest beer. Its weekday bar happy hour lists $8 signature cocktails and selected wines, plus $5 beers. That gives you a useful way into a more polished setting without assuming dinner-menu prices apply to every order. Choose from the actual happy-hour list, because the martinis and other drinks do not all share the same price.

Deal
$5 selected 12oz beers; $8 selected signature cocktails and wines by the glass. Dirty/Espresso Martinis are $12.
When
Monday–Friday, 3pm–5pm, in the bar.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Bar area only, first come, first served. The operator excludes tax and gratuity from published happy-hour prices.
Furnace bar inside Downtown Grand; ask the casino where the beer-and-hot-dog special is served08Downtown
Downtown Grand · Near Fremont Street

Downtown Grand beer & hot dog special

A beer-and-snack combination for $3

Downtown Grand earns a place for a combination price rather than a standalone bar order. Its current official FAQ advertises a hot dog and beer together for $3, making it a useful option when you want a small bite as well as a drink while downtown. Keep that distinction clear when comparing deals: this is not a promise of every beer at every casino bar for $3. Ask the casino team where the qualifying special is being served.

Deal
Current official FAQ advertises a $3 hot dog and beer combination.
When
Offer service days and hours are not published in the current official FAQ; confirm with the casino.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
A qualifying combination offer, not an all-bar beer price. Beer size/brand and service point are not specified in the FAQ; allow for tax and tip.
Interior of Bin 702 at Downtown Container Park09Downtown
Downtown Container Park · Fremont East

Bin 702

A daily happy hour with clear drink tiers

Bin 702 is an appealing downtown choice because the official offer is simple to compare across beer, spirits and wine. Its daily happy hour lists $5 local pints, $6 well drinks and $7 selected wine by the glass, with the included options named on the venue’s page. That suits a group whose tastes do not match. The Container Park setting also gives this stop a different feel from a large casino bar, without requiring an off-Strip detour.

Deal
$5 selected local pints, $6 selected well drinks, $7 selected glasses of wine and $20 selected wine bottles.
When
Daily, 3pm–6pm.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Only the beers, spirits and wines listed in the happy-hour selection qualify. Confirm current stock; budget for tax and gratuity.
Pizza Rock in downtown Las Vegas10Downtown
Downtown Las Vegas · Near Downtown Grand

Pizza Rock

A large PBR with a sit-down food option

Pizza Rock is a useful downtown pick when you would like a beer alongside something more substantial than a bar snack. The official happy-hour promotion lists a 25-ounce PBR for $5, alongside selected beer and wine discounts and a separate personal-pizza menu. The larger stated beer size makes the offer easy to compare with smaller bottles elsewhere. Timing matters, though: the published deal runs on selected weekdays and specifically excludes holidays and special events.

Deal
$5 PBR 25oz beer; $2 off selected wines by the glass and Modelo, Big Dogs and Sierra Nevada. Selected cocktails are $10.
When
Monday–Thursday, 3pm–6pm.
Practical details & Vegas Bible tip
Terms
Not available on holidays or special events. Discounts apply to named selections; food, tax and gratuity are separate.
PLAN YOUR NIGHT WITH CONFIDENCE

Cheap drinks in Las Vegas: your questions

Where can I get genuinely cheap beer on the Las Vegas Strip?

The official Slots-A-Fun page advertises a $2 draft, Casino Royale lists a $3 12oz bottled beer, and Beerhaus advertises a $5 draft special. Check the qualifying selection and service hours before ordering. A casino being open 24 hours does not confirm that a particular promotion is available all night.

Which Strip happy hours offer reasonably priced cocktails?

El Segundo Sol lists $6.50 selected margaritas Sunday–Thursday, 3–6pm in the bar. Virgil’s lists $7 margarita options Monday–Thursday, 2–5pm at the bar. RPM Italian lists selected $8 cocktails Monday–Friday, 3–5pm in the bar. Each is a specific menu and seating offer, not a discount on every cocktail.

Does the Blondies $20 package include every drink?

No. The published offer covers qualifying domestic drafts and well drinks during Monday–Friday happy hour, 3–6pm. Major sporting events can suspend it. Confirm the included selection, cover, taxes and gratuity before purchasing; do not assume premium spirits, every beer or service after 6pm are included.

Are downtown deals automatically cheaper than Strip bars?

Compare the actual order, drink size and any transport cost. Downtown Grand advertises a $3 beer-and-hot-dog combination, Bin 702 has daily happy-hour drink tiers, and Pizza Rock lists a $5 25oz PBR during its qualifying window. They are different offers, so choose one that fits your location and plans.

Are these prices the final amount I will pay?

Treat them as advertised menu prices and allow for tax and gratuity. The Lettuce Entertain You happy-hour listing explicitly excludes both. Check serving size, selected brands, seating restrictions, event blackouts and any minimum purchase before ordering. Confirm the current menu even when following an official link.
