PERSONALLY CURATED BY VEGAS BIBLE

A little heat.
A lot to discover.

These eight Vegas Bible recommendations span several different kinds of Asian dining, from Chinese fine dining and Japanese special occasions to Taiwanese dumplings, Korean-American cooking and a downtown Pan-Asian meal. We have kept the shortlist to the Strip and downtown. Choose the cuisine, atmosphere and occasion that suit your table; this is an editorial starting point, not a claim that one restaurant represents the whole of Asia.

Official restaurant sources checked 31 October 2026. These are editorial recommendations, not a ranking based on personal visits or paid placement. Menus, prices and arrangements can change.

Dining at Wing Lei at Wynn Las Vegas01Chinese fine dining
For a dressed-up Chinese dinner
Wynn · North Strip

Wing Lei

For a dressed-up Chinese dinner

Wing Lei is our occasion-dinner pick when the table wants Chinese cooking in a setting that feels far removed from the casino floor. Gold-toned interiors and garden-facing windows create a composed backdrop for Cantonese, Shanghai and Szechuan influences. The tableside Imperial Peking Duck gives a group a natural centrepiece. Choose it for a deliberate evening of dining, with the menu and service forming the event rather than a quick stop between attractions.

Food to explore

Imperial Peking Duck, seafood, dim sum and regional Chinese dishes.

Mott 32 at The Palazzo02Chinese & dim sum
For a stylish sharing dinner
The Palazzo · North/Centre Strip

Mott 32

For a stylish sharing dinner

Mott 32 earns a place for combining Chinese regional cooking with a dining room that has a strong identity. Cantonese, Szechuan and Beijing influences give a sharing table several directions to explore, while Joyce Wang’s design adds atmosphere without making the restaurant feel like another interchangeable resort room. We would choose it for a celebratory dinner where the group wants to pass dishes around. Its published lunch set menus also offer another way to approach the restaurant.

Food to explore

Dim sum, Peking duck and regional Chinese dishes; lunch and dinner formats differ.

Mizumi Japanese restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas03Japanese fine dining
For Japanese dining with a garden setting
Wynn · North Strip

Mizumi

For Japanese dining with a garden setting

Mizumi is our setting-led Japanese recommendation: the garden and waterfall backdrop give dinner a quieter sense of escape from the Strip. Sushi and sashimi sit alongside cooked dishes, making it useful for a couple who wants to explore Japanese dining without both ordering the same thing. The visual appeal is a reason to book, but the experience should fit your food preferences too. Choose it for a romantic or celebratory evening with room in the budget for a premium resort dinner.

Food to explore

Sushi, sashimi and cooked Japanese dishes; teppanyaki is a distinct experience.

Din Tai Fung dining room at ARIA04Taiwanese dumplings
For a food-focused, less formal meal
ARIA · Centre/South Strip

Din Tai Fung

For a food-focused, less formal meal

Din Tai Fung is our pick when the appeal is the food rather than a dressed-up dining occasion. Carefully made xiao long bao provide a clear starting point, with noodles, vegetables and other plates helping you build a shared meal. The ARIA location makes it convenient for a centre-Strip day. We like it for a small group that wants to order several things and keep the atmosphere relaxed, while remembering that a collection of shared dishes can still produce a substantial bill.

Food to explore

Xiao long bao, dumplings, noodles and vegetable dishes.

Noodle dish at Momofuku Las Vegas05Asian-American
For a group dinner built around sharing
The Cosmopolitan · Centre Strip

Momofuku

For a group dinner built around sharing

Momofuku is a strong choice for a group that wants to make the order part of the evening. Buns and smaller plates lead into larger sharing dishes, including the published bo ssäm and roasted-duck options. We recommend it for diners who enjoy contrasting flavours and trying several things together. The contemporary setting suits a sociable dinner; the best choice is an order balanced for your actual group, rather than adding a large-format dish just because it looks impressive.

Food to explore

Buns, noodles and larger shared dishes; serving sizes and arrangements vary.

Best Friend restaurant at Park MGM06Korean-American
For bold flavours and a lively night
Park MGM · South Strip

Best Friend

For bold flavours and a lively night

Roy Choi’s Best Friend brings Korean-American cooking and Los Angeles personality to Park MGM. The bodega-style entrance sets up a meal that feels sociable and lively. We recommend it for friends who want to try dishes together and let dinner become part of the night out. Choose it for flavour and energy, with the group’s appetite and budget guiding the shared order.

Food to explore

Korean-American dishes with a sharing-friendly approach.

China Poblano at The Cosmopolitan07Chinese & Mexican
For dumplings and tacos at the same table
The Cosmopolitan · Centre Strip

China Poblano

For dumplings and tacos at the same table

China Poblano is our deliberately different choice: José Andrés places Chinese and Mexican cooking alongside one another, giving a mixed group an easy route to dumplings, noodles and tacos without needing to agree on a single cuisine. We include it as a cross-cultural option rather than describing it as a traditional Chinese restaurant. It suits a lively, exploratory meal in the middle of a Cosmopolitan visit, particularly when a formal tasting menu is more commitment than the group wants.

Food to explore

Chinese and Mexican dishes side by side; check the current selection.

8 East’s dining room at Circa in downtown Las Vegas08Pan-Asian
For a downtown sharing meal
Circa · Downtown

8 East

For a downtown sharing meal

8 East gives downtown a place on the shortlist with Dan Coughlin’s market-inspired Pan-Asian cooking. Dumplings, wontons, skewers and a range of sauces make the menu well suited to ordering several plates together. We would choose it for a meal before or after exploring Fremont Street, when the group wants bold flavours in a more relaxed setting than a formal resort dining room. It is a useful alternative to another downtown steak dinner, with enough variety to keep a shared order interesting.

Food to explore

Pan-Asian sharing plates, dumplings, skewers and Chinese, Szechuan and Thai influences.

BEFORE YOU PICK YOUR TABLE

Your questions, answered.

Where should I start for a special Asian dinner?

Wing Lei suits an occasion Chinese dinner, Mott 32 a stylish shared meal, and Mizumi a Japanese fine-dining evening. Choose by the food style and setting, then compare current menus and the whole bill.

Which choices are more relaxed?

Din Tai Fung is our dumpling-and-noodle choice, Best Friend is a lively Korean-American option, and 8 East brings Pan-Asian sharing dishes downtown. A relaxed atmosphere does not necessarily mean a low total bill.

Is there a downtown recommendation?

Yes. 8 East is inside Circa near Fremont Street. Circa is a 21-and-over resort, so it is not a family-with-children alternative to the Strip.

Can I find vegetarian or allergy-friendly dishes?

Ask each restaurant about the exact dishes you plan to order. Broths, sauces and cooking methods matter as much as the dish name. Confirm allergies and substitutions directly rather than relying on a general cuisine label.
