The Golden Nugget’s pool complex is built around a shark aquarium and waterslide. The aquarium and slide have a seasonal closure notice for 2026; confirm reopening directly before planning a visit. A Pool Experience Like No Other The centerpiece of The Tank is its 200,000‑gallon shark tank aquarium, creating one of the most unique pool environments in Las Vegas. Please be advised that during this pool season, repairs are underway to The Tank. Some of the sharks have been moved to Mandalay Bay, and the slide is closed for the season.
